Introduction
Indian Super League also, called Hero Indian Super League as is sponsored by Hero, is a men’s professional Football league and stands at the highest level among the league’s in Indian Football System. Indian Super League is organized by the All India Football Federation and Football Sports Development Limited, who are partners commercially for the All India Football Federation. The league is sponsored by Hero MotoCorp and was founded in 2013, around 8 years ago in October.
About the league
The league currently comprises around 11 clubs and each season generally runs from November to March.
